Three Birds of Palestine
Three Birds of Palestine was created after experiencing the exhibition of Palestinian-born and Montreal-based artist Rehab Nazzal. Their exhibition is called Driving in Palestine and is a multimedia exhibition that documents life in the occupied West Bank with photography, video, printed matter, and sound. The last piece of the show is a video called Healing Moments. While watching the video, we recorded the sounds the birds in Healing Moments were singing. The sound-wave image, along with images of poppies and wildflowers, were used to create these pieces. Version 1: Version 2:
